September 15 is going to be a bad day for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, as that’s when the service is losing a whopping 11 games.

While it was previously leaked, Microsoft has since officially confirmed that 11 games will be removed from its Xbox Game Pass subscription service on September 15. Microsoft recently pulled the curtain back on the new Xbox Game Pass games for September 2022, but that announcement included confirmation that at least 11 titles are leaving the service this month as well.

The games leaving Xbox Game Pass on September 15 were leaked ahead of the official announcement, but now fans know for sure which games will be getting removed. September 15 will be the last day that Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play A Plague Tale: Innocence, Aragami 2, Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling, Craftopia, Final Fantasy 13, Flynn: Son of Crimson, I Am Fish, Lost Words: Beyond the Page, Mighty Goose, SkateBirdand The Artful Escape. Those interested in keeping the games for their collection can purchase them at a 20% discount while they’re still available on the Xbox Game Pass service.

It’s always a bad day whenever Xbox Game Pass removes games, but September 15 is going to be an especially upsetting day for subscribers. It marks one of the rare occasions that Xbox Game Pass is losing more games in a two-week period than it’s gaining. Game Pass subscribers may want to prioritize them over the games being removed, especially Plague Tale since A Plague Tale: Requiem will be joining Xbox Game Pass as one of October 2022’s day one games.

It should be pointed out that the 11 games leaving Xbox Game Pass on September 15 are really just the tip of the iceberg. More games are expected to be removed on September 30 as well, but fans will have to wait until later in the month to learn what they are.
